Wood

Mobu wood pieces are built from carefully selected solid timbers, chosen for their distinctive grain and natural finish. Each surface is sealed and protected, but like all natural materials, wood benefits from regular care and a gentle touch.

To maintain your piece:

  • Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth to keep the surface free from buildup.

  • Wipe spills immediately with a slightly damp cloth, then dry thoroughly.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, heat, or direct sunlight, as this can cause discolouration, movement, or cracking.

  • Refrain from placing hot or wet items directly on the surface; use coasters or protective mats when needed.

  • Do not use abrasive sponges, harsh chemicals, or silicone-based polishes, as these can damage the finish.

  • For pieces treated with natural oil finishes, reapply a small amount of high-quality furniture oil occasionally to nourish the wood and maintain its natural sheen.

Fabric
